I keep coming back to your painting. You have done the best job catching the light. Is this early morning light? That's my favorite time!
Wow - what a beautiful painting of a very difficult subject. When I looked at the thumbnail photo on the photos page it looked like a photograph - and then when I pull up the larger picture of your painting I see all these lovely loose paint strokes that depict the scene beautifully. Well done!!
Challenging subject. I am intrigued with artists who taken on scenes that rely on subtle value and hue changes and can execute it well.
Pick whatever subject you like. Your style is unique and consistent and says Ruckstuhl. Tha'ts all that matters.
You are definitely someone that I learn from when it comes to plien air. Your strokes are precise but loose at the same time. The atmospheric prospective is spot on!
