Your colour are awesome in this Siobhan - just beautiful! LOVE the lost bow edge of the blue boat! A little more care in the drawing of the main bow would have this nailed.

For me, what's nice about it is that the red boat is clearly the center of attention, and the other areas are played down. These other areas allow the mind to create what might be back there. The reflection brings to mind a pool of water. Also, the colors are cohesive throughout. I know what you mean. I think often times, the looser paintings are the better ones.

Thanks folks. Still trying o figure out what's nice about it, it was done very loosely like here's a swish of paint that will do. I just put my hands in the air and painted like I didn't care. The try hard ones seem to fail
