Hi Richard, the photo looks quite over-exposed ...? The excessive background light is bleaching out the top left portion of the bird which makes his head shape look quite odd. Otherwise not too bad at all (typical Kiwi understatement) . I like his breast feathers. Almost tempted to do one myself.
