I think on the tree, I just had some fun with it. I didn't really think much about it, I was too focused on the water. Funny, isn't it. Thanks Michael. I need to work on the color of the water some, your advice is great.

Hi Sherry.  My response to you about transparent water might be helpful in this painting?  Any transparent water would be in the foreground .. it would be a warmer mass tone but have some reflected blue from the sky.   This water looks like it is going fast, so you would not have too much transparency ... but it would be a little warmer in the foreground water ... with a little transparency.  Anyway, read my response to you .  BTW, I really like the Corot like tree you have in the foreground!! .. awesome! You can let me know how you painted that!
