Chroma Interactive Acrylic paints

Help, I spent a lot of money on the above paints only to find that I am unable to paint anything decent with them. I can paint in oils, but wanted to try a new medium, now here I am with a lot of unfinished canvases. All the videos online keep saying how wonderful these paints are, but I cannot blend them or do anything with them. At present I am trying to paint a scene of sand dunes which is awful no matter what I do with it. Any suggestions please?
