Hello Mario

I love using water mixable oil paints.  I use water only for clean up and use walnut oil like Richard when I want a more fluid paint.  Happy Painting to you...........Smiles : ))

Just noticed this comment Dorian & am wondering where you get walnut oil?  In my local art supply stores, it is not sold.  Maybe it's available at health food stores??  I also use water soluble oils.

Hi Jess

Go here  http://dgoilpaintingtechniques.com/walnutoil-2/  to find out why.  And this link will lead you to  where to purchase it. However, not knowing this, I  purchased a very pure form of it from a health food store.  It can be used for many things including salad.  Since I purchased so much much of it, (I keep it in the refrigerator) I have never bought the one from the art store.  I heard Richard say he gets his  from a health food store..........Smiles to you and happy painting  : ))

Thanks a lot Dor - very interesting website!  Will try a health food store.  Hope that you enjoy painting with water soluble oils, Mario!  It's a fun medium!
