Hi Steve

Snagged this picture and have gone to Mikel's web site and have it bookmarked.  Thank you very much, I love looking and reading about art.....I know nothing about Chroma Interactive  Acrylics.  I am using Water Soluible Oils and love them.  I always think of acrylics as drying immediately and no blending but I am gathering that has all changed.........Smiles to you........dor:))

Thanks Dor,

I was trying to get a feel for painting a luminous landscape using the Chroma Interactive  Acrylics. I had seen a video of Mikel Wintermantel doing an demo for Chroma and was impressed both with the product and his work.

I found his website and chose this painting of his to try and duplicate the look that he had gotten using these paints. I fell far short, but I learned a few things. Here is his original work.
