I couldn't fix the bubbles Joy. I had to scrape the entire sky down to the board and re Gesso. ugh.

I think I've finished with this except for some repair work. If you look at the top left part of the painting you will see little bubbles. I used Genesis oil paints which are heat set paints. This is only my second painting using Genesis and I must have overheated it. I guess I'm going to have to scrape off the bubbles and redo the sky. :o(
