"Purple Mountains" details

This is my first painting in like 6 yrs, due to having children and finding time and space for my tools to be set out. I did a quick little something with this painting, to get back in the swing with my paint brushes. Things got a little hectic on the trees. Found i dint have the right brush for the trees after all this time.
I love puffy paint, and you will probably find it on most my pieces:)
This piece represents my home town, Ashland in Oregon. The star spangled banner speaks of the purple mountain, refering to this area, oregon and california. This is my more surreal look at my majestic surroundings.
