Alpenglow (revised from "View From Our Window"

12 X 16 oil. We live in the desert and colors are quite neutral in the middle of the day. However, almost every evening as the sun goes down it cast a variety of reds, burgundy, or gold on the mountains up the street from where we live. I made a few changes including lightening the shadows. Thanks to Stu for giving me this title, the accurate name for this glow.
