Awaiting Spring 2

So here is the paint over which took me about 5 minutes at the end of a painting day. More dramatic yes, but I don't think I simplified it enough. Please critique this for me!!! What do you all think?

The 'simplification' is nicely done but usually the foreground needs to be slightly more defined to give perspective and maybe focus?
