Thanks Glenys. I use Schmincke oil paints. Mostly the "Norma" brand.

The trees including the shapes are fine.  The values and the soft edges blend nicely with the mountains and they frame focal point without being a distraction.

Thanks Charles. Yes, i am glad to learn to simplify. Maybe should have come up with more interesting shapes for the tress.
