Thanks Catherine. I know the technique to splatter with a toothbrush, but in this painting I liked the larger snow flakes better.
This is reallyl good ... next time try using a watered down paint on a toothbrush to splatter the snow droplets, it might look more random. Very nice though.
This is magnificent! Any wildlife artist should be looking hard at their work after seeing this!
(I think he needs a little birdhouse to shelter out of the snow!) Even the snowflakes look real!
