Just finished this commission. 'Bluey' is a rescued camp dog. His owner works with an Aboriginal community outside of Alice Springs to rehouse camp puppies all over Australia.

Hi again Michael - oh that explains it then, yes the email advice must have come through very fast!
Please continue to critique, as I said it is all very important information and helps me learn and improve, everyone sees something in a work that others don't - all good!
Hi Sandi. I decided to erase my comment .... But I guess someone saw it before I did it? .. it was only up for a minute! I was hesitant to post my critique because I thought I might have gotten to picky? It looks like you have everything under control.
Michael - I've just received an email advice that you left a comment on this work but I can't find it here. I would like to respond anyway...
Thank you so much for taking the time to critique, such valuable information is always appreciated. I do believe you are right about the contour line. It is interesting, before I went in to better delineate the folds of the drape, the eye focal point was very distinct and that line less necessary. Then I drew away from it by darkening the drape. So I believe enhancing that contour line by negatively painting in the background would work to re-establish it's importance, I just didn't want to kill the light there.
Hi Christine - thank you very much!
