'Goldfinch Male'

This is my first attempt at scratch art using a white clayboard (5"x7"). Honestly I'm not happy with the results, seems to lack depth. I guess if I looked back at my first scratch works, I might shake my head too. The plan is to continue to do a work on the white 'clayboard' from time to time to try and improve. I think I'm going to set this aside for a week or two and revisit it then. This was from a nice photo by Linda Anderson. Thank you Linda.
