This photo was taken by and used with permission from a great photographer I met at the Canyon, Carol Basey. I was lucky to have shade and no wind in the location.

This is just the toned canvas ; ). This is while I was still in the planning stage! Notice my white palette box is not even opened yet. I painted 3 at the Canyon and one at a nearby monument south of there. I will post finished paintings after I have a chance to add finishing touches ; ).
