Love your watercolors! Wished you lived closure...I sure would love to take classes from you, especially sketching. Your drawing and painting skills are top notch.

thanks Jessica, the ropes are done with brush straight into a tube of gouache and then with one go, hopefully it will work.  I always appreciate your lovely comments on my work.

This is simply gorgeous, Glenys!  I was wondering how you did the ropes holding the boats to the dock?  Do you sometimes paint this kind of detail with acrylic or gouache?  My first teacher (when I painted with watercolour) once taught me to add the ropes on boats with pencil crayons after the painting dried, and I am curious how you did yours, as they look fantastic!
