"Memories #6 Jack in the Box"

ink and watercolor wash, 5"x7", another Memories work. I can still remember the first time, as a youngster, someone put a 'Jack in the Box' in front of me.. I cranked the handle and when it popped out I started to cry... hahahhahaha Mean thing to do to a little fat kid!!! :) This is Memories #6.... #7 is on the drawing board. Think back to your first experience with a pop up toy!!! :)

Reminds me of the days when I couldn't wait until Captain Kangaroo came on! (Just a side note, my family lived down the street from Bob Keeshan -who was Captain Kangaroo-- , he had the most amazing dog!! What a nice man!)
