As I developed as an artist, I began to experiment with colour. I used some of my old, B&W photo's, mixed with lots of memories, and used them for my next stage along my art journey. Water colour seemed the ideal choice back then so this early work demonstrates that mood. I found them a bit whishy-washy to be honest!, they didn't have the same impact. Maybe I wasn't ready for change....

It is for me too Patricia, especially as 80% of this area has been flattened. I'm really glad I captured a lot of it. Just saying though, I have lots of work but it says the files are to big to be downloaded. I have lots more B&W drawings but they seem to be to big in memory to upload on this site...

There is some awesome texture on the orange wall, and some values in the street, so that's a very good start... Overall a very nice memory lane painting... :))

Personally, I have found art to be very therapeutic, and emotionally revealing.  How about you??
