I was inspired to paint this oak tree and background on the way to work. I put in a pond where the road was and the foreground rocks are similar to the foreground detail on Lake Louise in Canada. It took nearly 4 months to complete. Original is painted on a 12”x16” Canvas.

This was worth the effort. It is very well done. Your distance is very good as well as the details in the foregound. Ro

Looks like you figured out how to post your painting. I really like this painting. Good job adding the pond where none existed and putting in the reflections, etc. I'm not so good at making up things I don't see. I like your grasses and rocks and the flowers in the near foreground (actually weeds like I have seen a million times).. Your tree is great, as well. It stinks when you have to work for a living and can't paint as much as you'd like, doesn't it? I work a 40 hour week and painting gets put on the back burner quite a bit..
