Yeah! I am so glad that you are encouraged to paint the clouds! Go, girl. Reach for the sky! Wow! That's cheesy! No. really, I have been doing lots of clouds and they really are as freeing as an abstract. I even sold one of the cloud paintings recently. :)

Deb, I really like this, just like Cheryl I love this kind of dramatic skies. I made lots of great photo's, but never painted one of these skies. Your painting is absolutely the bosst that I needed to go on and look for the one that I want to paint. Very beautiful, strong and great colours, LOVE IT!!!

Cheryl, thanks so much. The clouds were more or less from a pic and then I added the earth and the gold strip.

Very nice.  I love dramatic scenes and you've really captured the immensity of the skyline.  Is this from a photo?
