I liked it!

Jane these are delicious! Lovely contrasts of bold and delicate, splashy and smooth, warm and cool, crisp and soft... The top pear seems to glow with an inner light!

Linda, thank you for the information.  I will check that out and try it in my light box set up.

Dania, isn't that the greatest thing about using w/c:) ... I think that is why I love this medium.!

Thanks to you both for commenting.

Jane, Richard cited qiang-huang. blogspot and he shows how to make a "north light" setup using a blue filter over a lightbulb -- check out page 2 on the workshop page to link

Your watercolor pears are nice -- I like the double shadow and the colors

Diane, I appreciate it, thank you.

Denise, halogen seems to be a warm light compared to the sunlight streaming in. Is that because the sunlight carries some blue from the sky?  I have ordered a daylight lamp however to use either for seeing my paper, when working late afternoon and evening, or for lighting the pieces with the light box.  Am thinking I may need to order more than one:)

Nicely done Jane, is halogen lights a warm light or a cool light that is what I've been using and I'm not sure what I'm dealing with?
