PIXIE POOL.
This is something I have played with for a while, it has been 4 different paintings along the way, I decided it had to be done tonight or binned, so this is it. it is done on a 30x30 canvas in oils.

Thanks for all your comments, I think Lawrence is right, in real life it is actually lighter near the bottom, also a lot of detail you cant see from the photo.

I rather like this. I don't mind the darkish bottom part. It gives it a certain mood, I think (or maybe it's just that it suits my mood).

I love the top half, but the bottom half seems sort of dark-ish?
