Thank you so much for you critique it is very very welcome I will place it where I can look at it in a variety of lights and see how I can bring the top of his head forward . You are so right.
Peacock blues and greens are very "in" right now in home décor in the USA. You should let some interior designers near you know of this painting--maybe make a sale!
Very nice work. I love peacocks. If I might make one tiny suggestion; Try holding a dark blue slip of paper that is about the same value as the darkest blue feathers near the left topside f his head and along his beak. See if that might bring his head and beak a little forward. Not sure it will, but that is one way to find out. The values are close to his head feathers there and it causes my eye to work a little extra (and I am lazy!) It might just be the computer, too. None of my paintings look like they do on screen. My paintings all look warmer and more colorful than reality. Anyway, I think you could sell this, if you could find the right party.
