Reflections Lake Alexandrina NZ

100 x 50 cm box canvas oil painting.
Have been holidaying at Lake Tekepo South Island NZ on the most stunning days, Crisp, Blue sky and gorgeous scenery all around. .10 min. trip to this wildlife sanctuary. Luck the ducks were not on the water to ripple it as the reflections were amazing.

Comment by diane boucher on August 7, 2014 at 9:06: Yes I totally agree Ian I most certainly could have pushed that horizon line further up into the top third of the picture (too eager to start!!! without thinking the composition through) and then I could have had more of the warm foreground. A case of think first paint later, :) Always a next time. Thank you for your comments.
