Hi Diane! Yes, you are right on that and I noticed also when I posted it. I have modified this painting already because of the foreground dominant horizontal marks. I made it darker and subdued and the marks were eliminated. I still have to re-post it again soon. Thanks again for your time and your very enlightening comment.

Love the colours you have used and the light at the end of your path. It has lovely lights to make it a bright interesting painting. Now this is just my constructive critique in friendship :) If you had a few straight lines across the path it would stop it looking as though it is sloping off to the left.
