Acrylic on canvas board - after watching Richard's painting of a new zeland beach on Mastering Colour video, I was inspired to paint this. Lots of detail is lost in the photo of this painting ... too bad, it turned out really nice.

You are probably right about the detail loss but you are really right about it turing out really nice. And that's putting it nicely. It turned out Fantastic. How do you manage to get such soft edges using acrylic?  I judge a painting (aside from abstract) by how it makes me want to be there. I want to be on that beach right now. I can her hear the surf and smell the salty breeze. Wow, you're good at this painting thing.
