Thank you Manneherrin! The problem you mention ... Joy noticed it too ... most of it is caused by The tilt of the photo i guess. I didn't bother to take a better one because i didn't like this plein air too much. After a couple of total failures outside i like it more now.

Wow! I like this one!  Only thing is that I thought the  photo might be crooked but the water in the foreground is  horizontal. Is this on a hill? Seems like it leans a little?

Silvana, I am grateful for my education in physics although it doesn't help me much at painting. I do not miss the work of a modern physicist at all, except for the regular income maybe. It is nothing compared to live for a dream.

Lol Thomas!! I think the eperiment didn't work out.... Don't you miss working as a physicist?

Thank you Pauline, Joy and Silvana!
Joy, it's the photo causing the tilt of the trees and also the horizon. Sorry for that... Will i take another photo of it?
Of course not! All energy need to go the next problem ;-)
Silvana, the subject reminded me of the famous (for physicists) slit experiment to demonstrate the wave nature of light. Meant as a joke (for physicists). To cause the effect, the gap between the two trees needs to be in the order of the wavelength of light.... Less than 0.1% of one millimeter! In some way I am still busy with my former life, you see :-)

I wonder what the experiment was about...
