Hi Melanie

this series is about Australia's stolen generation of indigenous children. Hundreds of indigenous children were taken away from their families because the authorities and churches thought it was for the own good. 'Stolen' symbolises a child being transformed into an image of her white mother. The ghost gum trees are representative of her indigenous roots throughout the series. 'Remember' is showing her as a teenager and the struggle in her mind between 2 cultures and 'Waiting' is a pregnant indigenous woman struggling with a choice of cultures for her unborn child.
