I really want to thank Olivia....Jim Haycock.........Jon......Christina...... Joy. Christine Lewis...Hyun..Glenys..and Joy...Thank You my fellow painters......A friend of mine was writing a blog..(..Cynthia Rosen Malter)...and she put the question up......Do we paint with our minds or with our hearts??.........I believe we learn to paint with our minds...And when something truly speaks to us....We paint with our hearts......So this I painted with my heart......Thanks Again!!

Wow this is simply stunning Thomas. Paying a fleeting visit to  the site it stopped me in my tracks.

The colours are fabulous Love those smoky blue-greys and that  rich red note in the bush behind the sunlit snow. But mostly grabbing me it is the masterful brushwork  the way those luscious strokes of snow follow the lie  of the  land down the hill and the more horizontal  strokes further back and all  those little  flicks of paint.

Hesitate to  say this about  such a fabulous piece but one little  stroke bothers me.The little white stroke connecting  with  the top of that foreground post
