Hi Dor, just saw your comments tonight october 1 ... I was studying for an exam all weekend and had i seen your comment, I would have submitted it...however, it was done last august (2012) and i didn't follow Richards instruction about glazing, etc.  I didnt have a reference photo, it was all in my head, lol ... oh well.  It's nice to still check in and see the comments. Thanks Dor.

This photo is quite a bit darker than the original.   I used glazes to achieve the luminescence of the sky and watery look of the sand (sand doesn't quite come through in this photo)
