There should be some light on the distant mountains, too, just trying to help.  Beautiful job!  Not sure if I can compete!

Thank you for the comment Sharon. The rocks are not that dark if you see closer (at least to me). But still he may have a point there. I appreciate.

This is a beautiful painting!   I love the knife strokes and the different colors in the ocean and sky.  The only thing is me and my husband think that the sun is too high up to cause such darkness on the back of the rocks.  What do you think?
