Thanks Flavio, it was actually a "pouring" technique. Layer by layer..each layer has to dry first before next.

Yes, of course. The boats are still present and used today. It have motors with long propeller's shaft, hung at the back and also rowers. They catch small and medium size fish, working in groups using fishing net. The houses are still present 'till today, a typical 'kampung' house, in a rural area. Visit Malaysia and do some live work would be nice! Thanks Ro.

Shahrin, if you dont mind being our tour guide a bit more. Are those boats still used today? Do they have motors? What kind of fish do they catch? Are those modern day houses or what year might you see houses such as those. Beautiful work. I love the perspective seeing down into the boats, over the land, and to the distance of the ocean.

Thanks Peter and Ro. This is painted based on a photo but I recomposing the color and subject. It is here in Terengganu, east coast of malaysia, showing the fisherman's village. Size is 15" x 22". Saunders waterford w/c paper.
