The Afterlife of Apples
Did 3 paintings on gold for a juried show for the New Mexico Art League. My first show. they took them all! Not my preferred ground (gilt) but fun to do!

This is very striking ! I was attracted by the background texture and then read it is guilt. Would you share briefly your process ? or a reference for how to ? If its a trade secret I understand. I love the creativity of the look and am interested in the work of Klimpt. He embellished his paintings with gold. Beautiful painting
