I took a close up of the painting so you can see the vase and pears better.

Hello Sharon,  I love you painting.  It looks like you used a limited palette and the colors work so beautifully.  The pears are so great to paint and bring so much life into this piece.  Beautiful!   Joni

Thanks Dee, I take that compliment from a great artist such as yourself!

Sharon, I love the way you've croppped this down to focus in on the key players. You've really strengthened the whole composition and it looks just great!  Good job.

I haven't heard of Gimp, will check it out!  I put my name across the pitcher and then tried to take it off, seems as though I have 2 now.  Oh, well.

Thanks for the information, Timothy.  I have Microsoft Digital Image, but have way too many photos, and don't want to have to upgrade my computer again!  If they are on photobucket, then they won't be on my hard drive!  (I hope)

Dorian, I am so happy you like this and will vote for it!  You are so nice... how is your painting coming?

Sharon  I like this close up photo of your painting a lot.........It will have my vote!

Gimp is a very good free imaging edition program.

Yup! I use photobucket and it helps with adjusting poorly taken photos (which seems to be most photo I take haha)
Try uploading your work to photobucket. They have a few features to play around with. :D I don't know if they have what you are looking for exactly though as I haven't explored it too much.
