Hi Gina , yes I know these are brave tries for a beginner , but I love much of their work. I have been reading a little about Gof7 lately and it mentioned different ladies and men who were invited to show with them. I will look for her work.

Thanks Craig

PS maybe you could help me with my evergreen in the foreground of my Ckickadee picture.

Hi Craig, These paintings are very difficult to do.  I"ve attempted a TT only to discover the complexity of his work.  Love all his paintings.  Many of the Gof7 are an 'acquired' taste, in my opinion, and only appreciated once the technique of each is understood.  Love them now.  By the way, have you heard of Peggy Nichol McLeod? She was a contemporary of the Gof7 and other Canadian women artists but overshadowed in her lifetime.  She was from my hometown of Listowel.  I've tried to track down her work.

Thank you Gina Tom Thomson and The Group of Seven are Canadian icons. I see you also are a Canuck! This painting along with my rendition of T T's Autumn Garland are/were a birthday present for one of my son's.

Hi Craig.. I can certainly see your inspiration.  Tom Thompson is an inspiration to all Canadian painters.
