I am such a color nut.. this one sang to me! I love it, so rich the shadows are perfect! :)
Delicious colour and light!
Thank you very much Tom! appreciate your kind words. Nice to know I'm getting there... will look at your photos soon.
It is lovely how the red on the tablecloth glows. That is the first thing that caught my eye. And the backlighting and reflected light is very interesting. This was a tricky setup and you handled it very well. Especially the shadow cast on the left pear.
Can't wait to see them!
Yes..im done with one but, getting to do another one. I want more paint and brush strokes to show up in the second one. I want to post them all together so i can have a sense if im improving (more like allowing) to relax.
I "red" that! Thanks, Marta. Are you going to paint a still life this time?
I was just telling Kari Hogden how your girls have inspired me to play around with color. Thank You!
Thanks - it's always nice to hear feedback, isn't it? This workshop is very helpful in doing paintings that we wouldn't think of doing on our own.
Wow Sharon.. i really like this.I love the colors. The angle of the composition, the light. Very nice.
