Exciting painting Richard. Can't believe I've only just found this...you all seem to have known about it for days! Really looking forward to this challenge. By coincidence I put an orange in my final (late!) entry for Workshop 6 so I'm raring to go! See you on Cloud 7 : )

Thanks Xiao, yes the purest orange colour there is cadmium orange straight from the tube.

Yummy! I love the loose background with the more detailed white bowl. I hope one day I can be so representational with such loose strokes!

Richard, how do you make the colour on the cut orange so bright?  Is it the colour right out of the tube or you have mix it with other colour?  Every time when I mix colour they all seems geting duller.  How do you keep your colour so clearn?
