Nice accident, frustration sometimes leads us to our most creative moments. Thanks for sharing your most 'happy accident'. It does give me food for thought when I return to abstract.
I think I'm getting too old for bravery. At least animals are easier to please, huh? I studied portrait painting under John Howard Sanden of the Art Student's League in NY several years ago and became 'hooked". I have a portrait hanging at Tulane Medical School in New Orleans, and one at the Thomas Center in Gainesville, Fl. - and other places. I've painted for many years and have pretty much tried it all. I like your painting of the dog in the bathroom and also your abstracts. Have a good day.
I'm so glad you like my work, Debbie. I'm just finishing up an oil painting portrait of a bride and groom (with the jewelry, the flowers, etc.). I find this the most demanding of all painting subjects and will need to do something extremely abstract when it's finished. LOL.
