This is my aunt Zefe. 11"x14" Burnt Sienna and Ultramarine.
I took Richards advice and used Burnt Sienna and Ultramarine Blue for this study. I believe this is considered "duotone" vs "monochrome". Still strongly value…

Whilst doing fabric painting years ago, I did monochrome portraits, but now I want to start doing portraits in oil and in colour. Will you please tell me what the stages are that you work in and the colours you use most often for the skin?
