Just like to say Hello!!

It has been far too long since I have been among you guys painting and have missed it.  Life goes past too fast!  It does not seem get any slower the older one gets, in any case I seem to be forever trying to catch up with "myself".

All the best to all of you!

Cleaning Brushes

Does anyone know the best way to clean oil/acrylic brushes?

I rinse mine with turpentine first and then wash them with soap for final clean.

Delays, delays.

I dont seem to get any time for serious painting yet, too much interference from various places.  This time is an operation on my left shoulder tomorrow, I really hope it will improve my immovability and of course golfing..)

All the best to all my artist friend,

My summer

Hi guys, I am sorry to say that I have not been able to join you in the last workshop, been so busy with so many things and am going on a week holiday at end of this month to the mainland to do some golfing!  I have never ever done that before so I hope the weather will be good for us girlfriends.  This is our way to keep healthy!

I will surely join you in a workshop next month.

Keep well and happy my artist friends.:)

Underpaint canvas

Can an old piece of canvas be underpainted with Liquin to stop it drinking in the oil paint?
