Beware Spam!

Hi everyone - I have received a private message asking me to contact david.hurley27@yahoo.com - having sent a message back suggesting he has been hacked, I googled this and found the exact same message sent to political figures and others - I have not responded to this yahoo account and unless there is a satisfactory response, I would urge you not to as well, if you have received any contact....

I never got a response from him. Tis no fault of this site or any other, just one of those things, not sure what this particular guy wanted out of it, maybe just mischief making and harmless.

Michael Severin and I both have admin privileges and did not approve him because his application looked real weird and a click on his website said it was not active. Sorry this happened and glad you spotted it; Richard asked Michael and me to help with approvals and with expelling spammers and gave us admin privileges; we have both expelled spammers. I think that next time I see a message like yours (I did see it) I should just kick the person off right then or at least message them and ask what's going on. I hope no harm was done. Stu
