Fall colors are at there max and are going away faster than normal.

This lil dude oil painting is an 8x10 on a canvas board Looks like winter is going to settle in so won,t be be going out to paint again so will be working up some larger pieces from this summer and fall en plein Aire paintings.

Thanks Edward, I mentioned that I need a new scanner these guys come out grainy with a lot of noise. By the time I mess them up in an editor I loose a lot. You are correct the color needs to be cooled going from front to back.

I love the fall with its profusion of color.  Think about atmospheric perspective.  As the trees recede, they lose a bit of their brilliance.  Overall, nice composition.....nice bright day....the painting as a cheerfulness about it.  Nice work.

Thanks Ian, I really need a new scanner, The results from this one is always blurry so have my order in for a new one from Santa. We had such a short Autumn this year. This has to be the coldest Nov. that I can remember.
