Hi All, postcard from the edge here on Great Barrier Island - 20km off the coast of New Zealand. We're here for a few days giving a painting workshop which has been heaps of fun with a great bunch of people. Looking forward to the next couple of days exploring more of this amazing island and will hopefully fit in another painting or two. About 800 people live here and they're the most interesting mix of people you'll ever have the pleasure to meet. This is how New Zealand was when I was a boy in the 70's - everyone knows everyone, you leave your keys in the car and your home wide open in case anyone needs to get in. Beautiful.

My demo painting.

Such a beautiful place!  Be sure to take lots of photos and maybe we can paint one as a challenge painting.   Love the sea gull!
