"Riding High" in Galway, Ireland

Despite The Downturn ... I had a really good year last year and this year, especially this summer, is turning out to be just as good. I'm a smiling happy chappy! I'd say that tenacity and an awareness that I'm a one-man business as well as an artist, have been my saviours.

I'm right now sitting in a luxurious conference suite in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Galway, surrounded by most of my available paintings. The hotel bought two large horse paintings from me (The Warriors and Beach Boy) - now hanging in their bar/cafe and main foyer - and this exhibition is in celebration of that purchase. I then move to three other venues in Galway and in Armagh in Northern Ireland, and finally get to sleep in September!

I've uploaded 95% of the paintings on show at this exhibition ... entitled "Riding High" both because I feel I have definitely been riding high for the last couple of years, and because it suits my horse paintings ... at www.PaintingsOnImpulse.blogspot.com if anyone would like to have a look.
