Yes I still use walnut oil as the medium. Sometimes I will use turps to washup but usually just warm soapy water.

Great one, Richard! It's a good reminder to hold the concept, or story, as a guide to the rest of the composition. Do you still mix these with walnut oil to thin them? Would you still need terps to wash the brush? I've been using Golden Open acrylics for ease of clean up, but if this is just a simple, it'd be a good thing to try! Thanks for sharing.
Woa Richard, I love this one. It is a great example of how you can edit you scene.
Richard I am passionate about your paintings, this one especially. Your artistry blows me away!
Smiles to you : ))
I like the water soluble paint and used it when I painting outdoors at a farmers market all one summer. I liked the easy clean up. I did find that didn't have the same feel as a good quality oil paint but I'm not throwing mine out as I'll definitely use them again.
Great painting and I have purchase your workshop on colour theory which is great and highly recommend it to all.
Richard,
This is very good work. Does the Cobra become sticky with water?
Thanks
Faisal
Richard, another great painting. You must be pleased with what you are doing down south and enjoying yourself tremendously. Weather good and locations abound. Super oil, with the washes showing thru. Enjoy yourself down there.
