Good observation and feedback Shelly... :). Except You addressed it to the wrong person :)
Hi Rodrigo, I agree that the title is confusing and really doesn't fit the painting; which is beautiful. I would like to see some area of the grapes near their diagonal, have more light. If the bowl under the grapes, on the right, is as lit as it is, then it would follow that the grapes would have some area in the light also. Right now your area of interest is the right side of the bowl which is probably not what you want. Food for thought. Shelly
Hej Faisal.
I saw the movie years ago. Very famous, based on a book by John Steinbeck, if i remember well.
I just hope my comment makes sense to you. I really liked the painting.
Hi Rogdrigo,
Thank you very much for your kind words of appreciation.
I apologize for the confusing title. I picked that name from a very popular movie and a book from the early 1900's, depicting the great depression. I just used it because, I thought it would be funny.
Thanks
Faisal
Hi Faisal. Once again i must say that your paintings have something special. Kind of some hidden emotion that i appreciate very much.
This one makes me feel that again. Whatever it is, i do not understand the term "Wrath" applied here. For me it is an opposite feeling - silence, sadness, quietness, peace maybe.
I liked it a lot!!!
Have a very nice 2015!!
Cheers.
