I have been planning to start a blog for a while now. This one will be a trial run to see if and how it works. My husband and I are on a RV adventure. We left our home on November 15 and traveled to Apache Junction, AZ. We stayed there 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed the area. Being an artist, I had to see the Superstition Mountains while there. I almost completed a plein air painting while visiting the park, and am working to complete the painting now. We also visited art galleries in Scottsdale, AZ and Cave Creek, AZ because I am pursuing gallery representation. No luck so far, but we are keeping our fingers crossed. They say it takes visiting at least 100 galleries to obtain good gallery representation. We'll see! I would say that my husband and I will be pretty tired at the 100th gallery.
This week we have been sitting in a nice park at Congress, AZ. Yesterday was spent in Prescott, AZ visiting galleries. Most of the galleries there were not getting sales and were in a slump, so no luck again. Our economy is supposed to be so good right now!!!! Where?????
Anyway, I spent today working toward finishing the Superstitions painting and I will probably spend tomorrow working on it also. Plus, I have another painting from Pueblo Park, NM. that I also need to complete. I will post the paintings online as soon as completed.
Well, I am going to send this as it is right now and see how it works.
Sincerely,
Jodi Murphy
