Gouache is opaque (as far as I know) so wondering if transparent WC would stick to the workable fixative for a glaze?
I remember doing gouache on a gessoed board with some texture when the gesso was applied. For sure on that surface, one drop of water removed all the gouache. Seems like we painted on 1/4" thick illustration board. At the moment I am only working in oils and a few graphite drawings. I still have all my WC, but not interested at the moment in trying to learn them again. (Crazy me.......they are too fast! RITFLOL!!!! What would I do with all those WC paintings? No wall space to hang anything in a motor home.)
