Hello Mireille,  thank you for your very nice comment on "Lucky", I'm pleased with him also.  I started painting when I turned 70 yrs old and retired.  Had time and my daughter suggested that I take up painting since I liked to doodle.  I tried acrylics and oils, then found watercolors and was hooked.  So I've been doing w/c's for 7 yrs.. in Nov of 2014 I started to do scratch art and really like it.  You use hard board, (masonite with white clay on it and then sprayed with india ink) I use an E-acto #11 knife to scratch and watercolors to color.  Really great medium for our furry friends.  Especially good for great details.   Tks again,   Chuck  :)  XX

Hi Mireille,  thank you for the kind comment.  You are a very talented lady, and your picture shows a very young and attractive lady, also.  I started scratch art blind, no idea and no help.  Let me know when you are going to give it a try and I will give you a few pointers and so comments that might help.  Just a note I did 24 commissioned pet portraits last year..
